We invite you to an exhibition into the surreal world of Marta Janik, author of the latest cover of “Przekroj” Magazine and the official poster for World Book and Copyright Day 2025.
Marta creates collages, linocuts and animations. She is interested in surrealism, kitsch, circus, mushrooms and whales. Some time ago she created “Baba with a fish,” which has since traveled the world. At Galeria Środek, next to Bazar Różycki, she will show her latest imaginings and hand-cut collages
During the Night of Museums, visitors are invited to create a joint collage with the artist, referring to the exhibition. You will be able to use the available materials and add your piece to the joint puzzle.
Participation in the event is free of charge. No application or registration is required.
And the artist’s animations will be displayed on the wall in the magic alley, mushrooms and Baba with the fish will come to life!
Also available will be bits of the cosmos – ties, knickers, bags, T-shirts, notebooks, stickers, pins, beautiful collage prints and upcycled clothes from the joint collection of Marta and Magda and Kasia from the Middle Gallery: including jackets, skirts and berets!
