On 3 June, I led a family collage workshop inspired by the poetry of Wisława Szymborska at the Jan Twardowski Public Library in the Praga-Północ district of Warsaw. The workshop is part of the Women’s Patriotism project (implemented from June to the end of November 2023), which is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage from the Partnership for Books 2023 programme and the Book Institute.
Anything is possible in collage: a man with the head of a tiger, a school as a spaceship or people sunbathing on Saturn… You don’t need any artistic skills to cut it out. Just grab a pair of scissors and… things start to happen. Collage is a journey. It is a process that surprises the creator himself. Where will it take us?
