Warsaw Wonder Workshop 2023

“Wonderful”- collage workshop with Anthony D. Kelly

In honor of World Collage Day, I will be conducting a workshop with artist Anthony D. Kelly, who is the author of this year’s official World Collage Day poster.

Astonishment is a complex emotion that comes from various combinations: experiencing beauty, wonder, experiencing natural phenomena, witnessing amazing events, having courage or talents. This wonder was felt by Nicolaus Copernicus when he looked up into the night sky and realized that he was small, but connected to everything he saw.

Wonder helps us connect with each other, to find meaning in the world around us, and collage art helps us do the same. Join us in a fun workshop to celebrate World Collage Day 2023, connect with others and discover your own feelings of wonder.

Let’s amaze each other! Let’s grab scissors in hand, see which images speak to us most powerfully, create our cut-out world and then call out “WONDERFUL”!

The workshop will be held in English and Polish. We will provide materials (old magazines, beautiful illustrations of animals, plants and cosmos), scissors and glue.

NOTE: The number of places is very limited (10). Cost: 150 PLN. If you bring someone with you – 125 PLN.
Registration: PRIV or contact@martajanik.com
