On 23 April, we celebrate World Book and Copyright Day. I am very happy that I was able to make a poster and a bookmark for a special commission from Polska Izba Książki- the Polish Book Chamber. I put a lot of feelings and dreams into this collage. Without books there is no life.

The Polish Book Chamber has also prepared eleven copies printed in collector’s quality, which, signed by the author and numbered, will go into the hands of those we wanted to particularly recognise for their contribution to supporting readership, protecting copyright and working for the book market. And one of these 11 went to me.
NOTE: The poster with the number 1/11 went to Fundacja Powszechnego Czytania the Universal Reading Foundation for auction to fulfil its statutory objectives. Reading helps build mental resilience. For books to fulfil their therapeutic role, they need to reach children in need. Funds from the charity auctions are donated by the Universal Reading Foundation to provide books to excluded children – children with refugee experience, children in orphanages and wards of social welfare centres.
